Social Posts  [status: active]

Connecting blog content using an enhanced trackback concept, combined with social networking elements. A Group Authentication API allows bloggers to produce collaborative works and participate in conversations through their own blog posts.

Currently limited to the Wordpress platform

Ad Network Integration  [status: in development]

To enhance the monetisation potential of the ad platform, a sister site "banner ad network" is being constructed to enable users to fill their empty inventory with CPC style ads. An integration module has already been produced and included with the ad platform. Initially it is a blog only publisher network.

Would be limited to blog platforms only

BlogOff Challenge  [status: idea only]

Building on the Social Posts idea described above, blogoffs would involve a topic being passed to participants' blog via the Group Authentication API. Each participant would then have a set period of time to make a reply. The best article would be chosen via social voting, or a panel of judges.

Would be limited to blog platforms only

DigiZine Publications  [status: idea only]

Allow bloggers (as well as budding editors) to further monetise their content, without relying on ads. Users would be able to create their own niche publications, using articles from OIOpublisher content owners (pending permission), in combination with editorials to link items together. Revenue would be generated via ad / subscription revenue, and shared between content owners.

Would be limited to blog platforms only

Blogging Jobs  [status: suspended]

A jobs board allowing bloggers to easily seek new monetisation opportunities. Job data is automatically sent to the OIOpublisher Ad platform so that job status can easily be tracked, whilst payment goes directly from advertiser to blogger.
